How it works

First steps

First steps

Once you have contacted us, we will arrange an appointment to meet both you & your puppy/dog. We do not take bookings for dogs we haven’t met before. It’s very important for us to assess the suitability & compatibility of your dog with our current group of dogs before we commit to looking after them. We won’t look after any dog that has a history of aggression or any form of behaviour that makes it a threat to other dogs or members of the public.

The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (new changes May 2014) makes it quite clear that whoever is looking after a dog is responsible for its behaviour, which means that we are responsible for all dogs in our care and are therefore liable to prosecution should anything go wrong. We also require you to complete a registration form before any bookings are undertaken. All dogs we look after must be fully-vaccinated.

first session

first session

The first session with us is used as an assessment where we get to know your dog and to understand if there are any areas of their behaviour that need to be worked on ie pulling on a lead, lack of recall, scavenging etc. This assessment needs to be completed before any dog is taken on full-time, as not all dogs are suited to group day care and we need to establish if they are. We want day care to not only be a fun environment for them, but one in which they will learn and become the best dogs they can be.
